Program and Risk Management Director

Chatham Financial is seeking a Program and Risk Management Director to support its Operational Risk Program and drive cross-functional initiatives. The candidate will conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and collaborate with teams to address high-risk areas. They will also structure and execute programs, manage changes and risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.The role involves bringing an operational process orientation to company priorities, facilitating process mapping, metrics design, and governance. The ideal candidate will effectively manage diverse stakeholders, influence through alignment to company objectives, and balance partnership with accountability.Responsibilities:

• Support Chatham’s Operational Risk Program
• Conduct annual operational risk assessments
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Maintain and update the operational risk framework
• Facilitate risk reporting and communication
• Drive cross-functional initiatives
• Structure, plan, and execute programs
• Identify, manage, and overcome program changes, risks, and issues
• Provide regular program updates and reports

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in senior roles within consulting, operations and/or program management
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong experience in leadership, meeting facilitation, program change and risk management
• Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies
• Strong track record of data-driven approaches
• Expert program management and meeting facilitation skills
• Aptitude and desire to learn about financial services / derivatives industry
