Job Description
Otter is seeking a Product Design Lead to join their Menu Team. This role is based in either Mountain View or San Francisco, CA. The Product Design Lead will be responsible for crafting end-to-end experiences that power the heart of every restaurant's digital presence — their menu. They will shape how menus are created, managed, and optimized across the platform to drive revenue and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who’s energized by operational complexity, obsessive about details, and motivated by the opportunity to build foundational tools that make restaurants more successful every day.
What this role involves:
- Crafting end-to-end experiences for restaurant menus.
- Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and operations.
- Participating in design critiques and cross-functional reviews.
- Enhancing the Menus experience by contributing to the design system.
- Championing user-centered design.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in product or UX design.
- Ability to be a strategic partner.
- Strong full-stack design skills.
- Proven track record in building products from the ground up.
- Solid communication skills and ability to effectively prioritize projects.
- Foster a collaborative team environment.
- A deep curiosity and passion for the food industry.
