Operations Supervisor

Job Description

ShipMonk, a leading 3PL provider, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead and develop a team of 25-30 associates in their Las Vegas facility. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining compliance, managing inventory flow, and optimizing warehouse operations through key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations.Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 25 to 30 ShipMonk Associates.
• Communicate policies and act as the primary information source for the team.
• Maintain compliance and consistency, taking corrective action when needed.
• Use software to keep records, edit, and manage inventory flow.
• Focus on productivity, process, and quality of warehouse operations through KPIs.
• Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, and employee performance.
• Constantly work to improve processes and optimize employee workflow.
• Ensure facility equipment is properly maintained and safe.
• Train new warehouse associates.
• Oversee warehouse sanitation in the assigned department.

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Honorable Discharge from The United States Military as an NCO or higher rank preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of inventory management software.
• Excellent organization, planning skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of taking ownership, driving results, and managing change.
• Ability to dive deep into data and provide workable business solutions.
• Available to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for most of the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
