Job Description
Tomofun, a pet tech company, is seeking an Accounting Intern to join their team in Taipei. Tomofun's vision is to bring joy and innovation to every pet lover in the world. The company's debut product, Furbo, is the world's first AIoT treat-tossing dog camera.

The intern will assist in monthly financial statement closing processes, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, optimize financial procedures, and participate in various projects.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with monthly financial statement closing processes, including order reconciliation, expense posting, and sales tax processing.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls, including assisting with withholding tax reporting.
  • Optimizing daily financial procedures to create efficient workflows.
  • Participating in and supporting various projects, such as logistics department operational needs and improving financial reporting automation.

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled student in accounting/finance-related field (intermediate accounting coursework preferred).
  • Familiarity with Excel functions.
  • Ability to define and implement internal control-related operations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to accept challenges in a fast-growing environment and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Available for a 6-month to 1-year internship, working at least 3 days per week.
