Datacenter Operations Specialist

Job Description

Leaseweb is seeking a Datacenter Operations Specialist for their Haarlem location. This role is hardware-focused and involves maintaining datacenter infrastructure for colocation, bare metal, and cloud services. The Datacenter Operations Specialist will be responsible for assembling, delivering, and maintaining datacenter infrastructure for internal and external customers, ensuring the quality of all technical aspects within the Datacenter Operations team.Role involves:

• Building new services such as dedicated racks and colocations
• Conducting inspections on power and cooling systems
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
• Acting as an escalation manager for customers
• Preparing technical reports and sharing status updates
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
• Hardware and Software updating
• Testing
• Managing hardware/spare part replacement
• Ticket resolving, Troubleshooting closely with different support teams
• Participating in the capacity planning
• Project Management around relocation of servers

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a datacenter environment
• Problem-solving mentality
• Basic network knowledge
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands
• Valid driver's license
