Job Description

YouGov is seeking a bilingual French-Italian telephone interviewer for market and social research in Lausanne. The role involves working flexibly from Monday to Saturday, with at least two evening shifts per week. After a successful trial period, the interviewer may have the opportunity to work from home.

YouGov's telephone surveys cover important social topics such as work, health, education, politics, media, and mobility. The company provides valuable support to clients in the private and public sectors, including the Confederation, cantons, and universities.

The role involves:

  • Conducting sociological interviews in the telephone laboratory in downtown Lausanne (NO SALES!)
  • Correctly entering responses into the system
  • Answering hotline calls and handling requests professionally
  • Ensuring the accuracy and quality of the data collected
  • Communicating in a friendly and professional manner with the Swiss population

Requirements:

  • Very good knowledge of French and Italian, spoken and written
  • Minimum availability of two evenings per week (17:30-21:00), as well as one Friday evening and one Saturday morning or afternoon per month
  • Confident and assured presentation
  • Quick understanding of contexts, quick learning, and reliable task execution
  • Committed and precise working method
  • Responsible and autonomous in task execution
  • Good computer skills
  • Stress-resistant, flexible, and able to work in a team
  • Attraction to communication by telephone
  • Experience in telephone contact with customers is an advantage
