Job Description

YouGov is seeking a Graduate Survey Scripting Executive to join their Scripting team in Bucharest, Romania. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid working arrangement. The role supports research teams in Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and APAC by providing scripting services to aid them in their client relationships.

The Graduate Survey Scripting Executive will take questionnaires from researchers and script them using YouGov’s bespoke scripting software in an accurate and timely manner. They will also be responsible for testing survey logic to ensure that it is error-free, managing their own workload to meet deadlines, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all reporting and management requests are accurate and delivered on time.

During the programme, the candidate will receive training in market research workflow, online survey mechanisms, question types, logical and programming skills, web design coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery), creating online surveys, and using the Gryphon (Python) scripting platform.

Role involves:
  • Providing scripting services for researchers

Requirements:
  • Fluent in English
  • Familiarity with any computer language (e.g., C, C++, C#, Python, Java etc.)
  • Degree in an IT-based subject or equivalent computer skills
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office
  • Teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong logical problem-solving skills
