Junior Specialist Panel Methods & Quality

Job Description

YouGov is seeking a Junior Specialist to join their Panel Methods & Quality team in Nuremberg, Germany. In this role, the Junior Specialist will focus on ensuring the application of state-of-the-art statistical models and calibration techniques to consumer and mobility data. The role involves working with tracking data to understand mobility behavior in Germany, including individual vs. public transport affinity.

The role involves:

• Creating and improving methods and tools for applied statistical/marketing sciences.
• Delivering consistent data across countries through standardized methods and processes.
• Ensuring transparent use of scientific methods and valid external sources for data calibration.
• Supporting research colleagues with data expertise.
• Troubleshooting data quality issues with client service and clients.
• Gaining insights into the mobility sector through panel research and geostatistical analysis.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in statistics or a related field with strong modeling and statistical skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Knowledge of R or Python.
• Familiarity with geostatistical analysis, Shiny apps, and panel data structure is an advantage.
