Cobblestone Energy is seeking an Energy Meteorologist to provide weather forecasts impacting European Gas and Power markets. The candidate will collaborate with traders and analysts to identify weather-driven trading opportunities, contributing to the company's commercial success. Responsibilities:

• Provide meteorological forecasts and analyses for intraday, day-ahead, and month-ahead trading horizons.
• Develop and maintain statistical and numerical models.
• Translate meteorological data into actionable insights.
• Present intelligence to traders, analysts, and senior leadership.
• Partner with the commercial team to fine-tune trading strategies.
• Work closely with data scientists, developers, and fellow meteorologists.
• Adapt forecasting models to evolving market conditions.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years as an Energy Meteorologist in energy trading environments.
• Strong understanding of European Gas and Power markets and how weather shapes these.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Physics, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative team player.
