Job Description
YouGov is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join their Power BI Development team in Mumbai, India. The candidate will primarily focus on the visual design and UX of internal operational reports distributed across all YouGov business units and departments. This role reports to the Finance Systems Team Lead.
  • Development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Collaboration with the Product Owner to deliver changes aligned to the product roadmap.
  • Maintaining and developing the Power BI reporting suite within an agile framework.
  • Regression testing and impact analysis for all changes.
  • Deployment of reports and updating release notes and documentation.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior developers.
  • Identifying and proposing solutions to improve end-user experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience with Power BI or similar reporting tool.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of DAX.
  • Experience with source control tools (preferably GitLab).
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD principles (e.g., Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, GitLab).
  • Knowledge of BI testing framework (e.g., NBi).
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Ideally some knowledge and experience in the domains of Finance/Accounting, Sales/Marketing.
