Cobblestone Energy is seeking an Energy Meteorologist to provide high-impact weather forecasts and insights for the European Gas and Power markets. The role involves collaborating with traders and analysts to identify weather-driven trading opportunities and optimize strategies. Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate weather forecasts for intraday to month-ahead trading horizons.
• Develop and maintain statistical and numerical models.
• Translate meteorological data into actionable intelligence.
• Partner with the commercial team to refine trading strategies.
• Collaborate with data scientists and developers to drive innovation.
• Stay updated on advancements in meteorology and energy trading.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years as an Energy Meteorologist in energy trading environments.
• Strong understanding of European Gas and Power markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Physics, Geoscience, or related field.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented focus.
• Collaborative team player.
