Salesforce Developer

Job Description

RAPP Chicago is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join its Technology team. The ideal candidate will focus on configuring, managing, and customizing the existing Salesforce instance. This role demands strong technical expertise and the ability to work in secure government environments.

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and implementing complex customizations within Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
• Configuring and maintaining Salesforce environments, including sandbox and production instances.
• Creating and maintaining custom objects, fields, workflows, and automation processes.
• Developing integration solutions between Salesforce and external systems.
• Implementing and maintaining security controls in accordance with government compliance requirements.
• Providing technical documentation and support for implemented solutions.

The requirements for this role include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development and customization.
• Strong proficiency in Apex programming, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (minimum).
• Experience working in government or highly regulated environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
