Job Description

Udacity is seeking a Senior Content Learning Architect, Data Science to enhance the learning experience for students. This role involves using technical and instructional design skills to craft learning journeys and ensure content quality. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot content issues, update materials, and provide feedback to the development team.Responsibilities include tailoring learning journeys, developing assessments, correcting content issues, and analyzing student feedback. The candidate should be empathetic, organized, and data-driven, with excellent communication skills.Responsibilities:

• Tailoring learning journeys based on desired learning outcomes.
• Developing assessments to gauge applicants’ readiness for admission to learning journeys.
• Triage and correct urgent content issues.
• Review and revise course content as needed.
• Anticipate and identify potential student drop-off points in program content.
• Analyze student and customer feedback and user-testing data, and prioritize revisions to improve content effectiveness and student outcomes.
• Review and approve content submissions from content contributor network; ensure content improvements deliver the target outcomes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Skilled in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Familiar with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and data processing libraries/frameworks (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Spark).
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Passionate about learning and teaching emerging technologies.
• Prior experience instructing or tutoring learners at multiple levels of mastery.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and curriculum creation is a plus.
