Cobblestone Energy is seeking an Energy Meteorologist to deliver impactful weather forecasts for European Gas and Power markets. The role involves close collaboration with traders and analysts to identify weather-driven trading opportunities, optimize strategies, and contribute to commercial success. Responsibilities:

• Provide meteorological forecasts focused on weather's impact on European Gas and Power prices.
• Develop statistical and numerical models to capture relationships between weather and market volatility.
• Translate meteorological data into actionable insights for commercial decisions.
• Present intelligence to traders, analysts, and senior leadership.
• Partner with the commercial team to fine-tune trading strategies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and meteorologists to drive innovation.
• Adapt forecasting models to evolving market conditions.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years as an Energy Meteorologist in energy trading environments.
• Strong understanding of European Gas and Power markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Physics, Geoscience, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative team player.
