Job Description
Udacity is seeking a remote on-call Video Editor to join their contractor pool. The Video Editor will collaborate with the production team to create engaging, high-quality videos for a global student base.   • Edit course content using Adobe Premiere.
  • Animate 2D and 3D animations.
  • Manage and organize media effectively.
  • Follow directions and provide sound editorial judgment.
  • Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • A strong reel showcasing editing skills and visual storytelling ability.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Strong media management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take direction well and demonstrate sound editorial judgment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable with both long-term editing tasks and urgent assignments.
  • Solid communication skills and ability to give and take constructive feedback.
  • Constantly seeks opportunities to develop technical skills and learns from failure.
