Job Description

IMC is seeking a Risk Manager to join their Mumbai team. The Risk Manager will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing risks, implementing controls, and developing risk metrics to monitor market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks. This role requires close collaboration with trading desks, technology teams, and senior management to ensure compliance and improve risk management practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring intraday and overnight market risk exposure.
• Analyzing market trends and conducting stress tests.
• Implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Utilizing Python-based tools for stress testing and scenario analysis.
• Engaging in operational incident management.
• Partnering with software development and data engineering teams.
• Collaborating with global risk, trading, and technology teams.
• Generating key risk management reports.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Providing training and support to traders.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience with a capital markets company.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with quantitative analysis and modelling.
• Familiarity with financial markets, derivatives, stress testing, risk management tools and frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and out-of-the-box thinker.
