Role Involves:
Collaborating with traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers to design user interfaces.
Conducting user research to understand user needs, workflows, and priorities.
Translating complex requirements into intuitive designs.
Leading the creation and evolution of design systems and methodologies.
Advocating for user-centered design practices and usability testing.
Ensuring designs are feasible, scalable, and well-implemented.
Reconciling conflicting feedback and proposing alternative solutions.
Defining and driving a UX vision and strategy.
Using quantitative metrics to inform iterative improvements.
Traveling to IMC's offices to build a UX community.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in User Interface, Interaction and Experience Design.
Strong portfolio showcasing ability to design for complex systems and workflows.
Expertise in conducting user research, including interviews, analytics, and usability testing.
Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and creating design documentation.
Familiarity with common UI frameworks: React, Angular, Vue, Svelte.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
An engineering mindset that prioritizes simplicity, scalability, and robustness in design.
Knowledge of the financial and trading domain is a plus.
Ability to manage stakeholders, balance competing priorities, and maintain focus on delivering user-centric solutions.
