Job Description

IMC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Mumbai, India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a robust, low-latency trading environment. This role requires a diverse skillset, including system administration, network troubleshooting, database optimization, software development, release management, and performance engineering. The engineer will collaborate with systems, performance, and network engineers, as well as traders and software developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate trading requests into technical requirements.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of trading systems.
  • Coordinate and plan changes to trading software.
  • Develop automation tools to streamline operational processes.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of trading strategies and infrastructure.
  • Facilitate core market connectivity and collaborate with exchanges.

Requirements:

  • Self-driven and passionate about engineering.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP).
  • Strong programming experience in Python and shell scripting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or Technology.
  • Experience supporting high-performance applications.
