Job Description

IMC is seeking an experienced Gas Trader to join their new power and gas trading business in Århus, Denmark. The successful candidate will be part of a strong, independent team, leveraging IMC's global trading expertise. This role involves monitoring European gas markets, executing trades, and contributing to the desk's strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor European gas markets and relevant supply/demand factors.
• Execute trades based on quantitative signals and discretionary insights.
• Take ownership to drive strategies forward.
• Train new team members.

Requirements:

• Strong academic background in a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of gas trading experience in Europe.
• Proven track record of P&L ownership.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a healthy risk appetite.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Fluency in English.
