Job Description
IMC is seeking a Research Analyst to join their team in Mumbai, India. The ideal candidate will monitor Indian corporate/macro news, translate insights into tradable actions, and provide daily reports. They will maintain expertise in Indian market structure, collaborate with traders, and assess the impact of corporate actions.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring Indian corporate/macro news and sentiment
- Providing daily reports and commentary
- Maintaining expertise of Indian market structure
- Collaborating with traders on strategies
- Assessing impact of corporate actions
- Communicating with other IMC Analysts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Economics/Finance/Business OR STEM from a Top University
- 3+ years of experience in Indian equities
- Experience with Excel and Bloomberg
- Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
- Indian Macro/ Indian X-Asset exposure a plus
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Skills to contribute and communicate in a team environment
- Exposure to Python and Options knowledge
