Sr. Solutions Engineer

Fetch is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer to join their team. This role involves meeting with data partners, assessing requirements, and recommending pipeline improvements to manage data export and delivery efficiently. The ideal candidate will work in cross-functional teams, addressing complex problems and promoting innovative solutions.

What this role involves:

• Meeting with Fetch B2B partners to share product knowledge and development roadmaps.
• Identifying partners’ needs and transforming them into practical business requirements.
• Offering guidance to partners in understanding and deriving value from shared data.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data product quality and performance.
• Maintaining expertise in Fetch data pipelines and modern data management techniques.
• Designing and coordinating innovative approaches to managing datasets.
• Leading data documentation and data discovery initiatives.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional experience in a technical role.
• Experience in requirements analysis and functional specification authorship.
• Understanding of business and data problem areas.
• Project management experience using Jira or similar platforms.
• Experience with data modeling and orchestration tools.
• Experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Understanding of ETL vs. ELT processes, data warehouses, and business intelligence tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
