Job Description
Fetch is seeking a Frontend Engineer Apprentice to contribute to the development and maintenance of world-class web applications for customers and external partners. The apprentice will collaborate within a small, multi-functional team, working closely with backend services to create user-centric solutions. This role involves tackling challenging problems, designing innovative solutions, and reimagining the shopping experience.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Tackle challenging and ambiguous problems.
  • Build and implement features.
  • Create responsive designs.
  • Reduce technical debt.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript and proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Experience with React and Svelte frameworks.
  • Experience with front-end styling and layout languages (e.g. CSS, HTML, Sass, Less).
  • Solid foundation of functional and/or object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with design system implementation.
  • Experience with application state management.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Effective communication skills.
