Cobblestone Energy is seeking an Energy Meteorologist to deliver high-impact weather forecasts and insights for the European Gas and Power markets. The successful candidate will collaborate with traders and analysts to identify weather-driven trading opportunities, optimize strategies, and contribute directly to the company's commercial success. Responsibilities:

• Providing accurate meteorological forecasts for intraday, day-ahead, and month-ahead trading horizons.
• Developing and maintaining advanced statistical models.
• Translating complex meteorological data into actionable insights.
• Presenting intelligence to traders, analysts, and senior leadership.
• Partnering with the commercial team to fine-tune trading strategies.
• Working with data scientists and developers to drive innovation.
• Adapting forecasting models to evolving market conditions.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years as an Energy Meteorologist in energy trading environments.
• Strong understanding of European Gas and Power markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Physics, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative team player.
