Software Engineering Manager

Job Description

Fetch is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping its mobile strategy and delivering world-class experiences to users on iOS and Android. The Engineering Manager will lead a team of talented mobile engineers while remaining hands-on with code and architecture. They will drive technical excellence across mobile applications, setting best practices in mobile development, performance optimization, and UI/UX standards. Beyond technical contributions, they will foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career growth for mobile engineers.Role involves:

• Leading a team of mobile engineers.
• Driving technical excellence in mobile development.
• Coaching and mentoring team members.
• Collaborating with product, design, and other engineering leaders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, or React Native).
• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining high-quality mobile apps.
• Previous experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Passion for creating seamless mobile user experiences.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
