Software Engineer, Backend

Job Description

Tatari is seeking a Backend Engineer to join its Reporting and Measurement team. This role is crucial for providing accurate and reliable brand-focused metrics to clients, enabling them to create informed marketing strategies while adhering to privacy guidelines. The engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that serve as the cornerstone of Tatari's business operations. The position involves developing and supporting intricate calculation algorithms and data ingestion pipelines for both linear and streaming TV platforms.Role involves:

• Building, managing, and optimizing data infrastructure.
• Designing and developing data pipelines.
• Ensuring the reliability and scalability of data systems.
• Maintaining microservices and APIs.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Mentoring junior data engineers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores.
• 2+ years of experience with a modern data stack (Kafka, Spark, Airflow, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS.
• Proficiency in programming languages like FastAPI, Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Excellent communication skills.
