Software Engineer, Data Platform

Job Description

Tatari, recognized for revolutionizing TV advertising, seeks a Software Engineer to join their Data Platform team. The role involves designing, building, and scaling the infrastructure that powers data engineering, data science, and analytics efforts. The engineer will help establish industry-standard data engineering practices, introduce new technologies, and scale current data infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, building, and scaling data pipelines and data infrastructure.
• Working with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS and Databricks).
• Developing and orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Building and optimizing distributed data processing systems with Spark/PySpark.
• Working with OLAP and OLTP databases such as Clickhouse and Postgres.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience building and scaling data pipelines and data infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS and Databricks).
• Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language.
• Experience with containerization and deployment using Docker.
• Hands-on experience developing and orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Expertise in building and optimizing distributed data processing systems with Spark/PySpark.
• Working knowledge of OLAP and OLTP databases such as Clickhouse and Postgres.
• Familiarity with security, controls, and access management for data systems.
