Job Description
Tatari is seeking a Software Engineer, Data Platform to join their core Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will help level up Tatari’s data platform by designing, building, and scaling the infrastructure that powers all of their data engineering, data science, and analytics efforts. The candidate will be responsible for laying down industry standard data engineering practices and solutions, bringing in new tools and technologies when necessary, and doubling down efforts to scale current data infrastructure. Tatari is looking for someone with strong infrastructure and data engineering skills, a proven track record of successfully building and scaling data infrastructure leveraged by growing companies, as well as the ability to evangelize and drive new technology adoption.
  • Designing, building, and scaling data infrastructure
  • Laying down industry standard data engineering practices and solutions
  • Bringing in new tools and technologies
  • Scaling current data infrastructure
  • 3+ years of dedicated experience building and scaling data pipelines and data infrastructure
  • 2+ years of experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS and Databricks)
  • Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language
  • Experience with containerization and deployment using Docker
  • Hands-on experience developing and orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow
  • Expertise in building and optimizing distributed data processing systems with Spark/PySpark
  • Working knowledge of OLAP and OLTP databases such as Clickhouse and Postgres
  • Familiarity with security, controls, and access management for data systems
  • Total compensation ($140,000-170,000/annually)
