Cobblestone Energy, an energy trading company specializing in European Gas and Power markets, is seeking an Energy Meteorologist to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will deliver high-impact weather forecasts and insights for intraday through month-ahead horizons, collaborating with traders and analysts to identify weather-driven trading opportunities and optimize strategies.

The Energy Meteorologist's role involves:

• Providing meteorological forecasts and analyses for intraday, day-ahead, and month-ahead trading horizons.
• Developing and maintaining statistical and numerical models.
• Translating complex meteorological data into actionable insights.
• Presenting intelligence to traders, analysts, and senior leadership.
• Partnering with the commercial team to refine trading strategies.
• Collaborating with data scientists, developers, and meteorologists.
• Adapting forecasting models to evolving market conditions.

Requirements for the role:

• 2–3 years as an Energy Meteorologist in energy trading environments.
• Understanding of European Gas and Power markets.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Physics, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative team player.
