Cobblestone Energy is seeking an Energy Meteorologist to deliver weather forecasts and insights for the European Gas and Power markets. The role involves collaborating with traders and analysts to identify weather-driven trading opportunities, optimize strategies, and contribute to commercial success. Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate meteorological forecasts for intraday, day-ahead, and month-ahead trading.
• Develop and maintain statistical and numerical models.
• Translate meteorological data into actionable insights.
• Present intelligence to traders, analysts, and senior leadership.
• Partner with the commercial team to fine-tune trading strategies.
• Collaborate with data scientists and developers.
• Adapt forecasting models to evolving market conditions.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years as an Energy Meteorologist in energy trading environments.
• Strong understanding of European Gas and Power markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Physics, Geoscience, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative team player.
