Job Description
Xometry is seeking a Director/Senior Manager, SEC Reporting to lead its SEC reporting function. This role ensures the timely and accurate preparation and filing of all periodic SEC reports and supports technical accounting matters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and have a proven track record of managing the SEC reporting process within a publicly traded company. They will be a key liaison with external auditors, internal audit, and various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage the entire SEC reporting process.
  • Maintain and manage the SEC filing calendar and timelines.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, footnotes, earnings releases, and investor presentations.
  • Lead the drafting and review of all disclosures to ensure compliance with SEC regulations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Research and resolve complex technical accounting and reporting issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Manage the preparation of PBC requests and ensure timely responses to auditor inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal audit to maintain and enhance SOX 404(a) compliance.
  • Lead the monthly financial reporting process and support analytical reviews of financial statements.
  • Utilize Intacct to generate financial reports and ensure accurate consolidation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Support the implementation and development of new finance systems and tools.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • 8+ years of combined public accounting and industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred) auditing publicly traded companies.
  • 5+ years of SEC reporting experience within a publicly traded company.
  • Current CPA license (any state) required.
  • Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with ActiveDisclosure (or similar tools).
  • Experience with Intacct (or similar tools).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
