Job Description

Incode is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to drive the development of its data infrastructure and analytics platform. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building robust data pipelines, implementing automation for data processing, and shaping the technical direction of data engineering practices.

The Data Engineering Lead will play a key role in automating data extraction and quality control processes, supporting the evolution of Incode's data platform, and working closely with cross-functional teams including Machine Learning, Backend, Product, and Data Analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate data extraction from various external sources
  • Automate quality control and verification of incoming data
  • Build and manage scalable data pipelines using Apache Kafka to support real-time and batch data processing
  • Develop and maintain robust ETL pipelines in AWS Redshift for robust analytical reporting and insights
  • Support and evolve our data infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability and usability

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing architecture for data analytics platforms
  • Strong proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, Luigi)
  • Solid programming skills in Python or a similar language
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience in query optimization
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
  • Eagerness to learn and explore the identity verification domain
  • Clear and effective communication
