sFOX is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background in client money rules, accounting, budgeting, tax, transfer pricing, and financial reporting & analysis. They should also have a strong grasp of the financial services sector, ideally within money transmission licensed institutions or money service businesses. This role requires a strategic thinker who can deliver solutions, engage effectively with C-suite stakeholders, and communicate complex ideas concisely.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring strict adherence to client money regulations.
- Managing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Conducting financial reporting analysis to evaluate financial performance.
- Overseeing tax planning, compliance, and transfer pricing activities.
- Developing and executing financial strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Collaborating with senior leadership, providing financial insights and solutions.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related areas within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and systems migration is an advantage.
- Prior experience in Fintech Industry preferably crypto currencies.
- Proven experience in the financial services industry, preferably within MTLs or MSBs.
- Strong technical knowledge of client money regulations, accounting principles, budgeting, tax, transfer pricing, and financial reporting analysis.
- Effective solutions provider, adept at troubleshooting financial issues and offering strategic advice.
- Clear, concise communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives.
- Analytical mindset, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
