Business Development Representative

Altium is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Karlsruhe, Germany. Altium is transforming the way electronics are designed and built, offering digital platforms that empower PCB designers, supply chains, and manufacturers.

The Business Development Representative will drive growth through fast-paced volume sales to new and current customers. This role is hybrid, requiring a presence in the Karlsruhe office.

The role involves:

• Organizing and executing specialized projects such as call-out campaigns and data updates.
• Qualifying new accounts and establishing value for Altium.
• Uncovering new customers and qualifying sales leads from multiple sources.
• Collaborating with sales and technical team members.
• Maintaining detailed notes in Salesforce CRM.
• Learning and maintaining knowledge of Altium products and industry trends.
• Developing new lead opportunities by collecting relevant information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer/electrical engineering preferred).
• Fluent in English and German.
• 2+ years of inside sales experience in Software Sales is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of Salesforce.com experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of PCB or embedded software is highly preferred.
• Outstanding organization and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
