Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

Altium is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their Altium 365 development team in Wrocław, Poland. Altium is transforming the way electronics are designed and built, offering a cloud platform that enables design engineers to communicate, collaborate, and bring their ideas to market efficiently. The Senior QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Altium's products through refining requirements, testing new features, regression testing, and developing automated tests.Role involves:

• Developing complete and robust test suites
• Designing test plans and cases
• Executing test cases and analyzing results
• Configuring and maintaining test environments
• Reporting defects accurately
• Facilitating issue tracking and resolution
• Assessing and communicating risks
• Participating in planning activities
• Investigating and capturing steps to reproduce issues

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing (API and user flows)
• Advanced knowledge of testing approaches and methodologies
• Strong knowledge of software development methodology
• Experience in projects integrated with an automated testing ecosystem
• Experience working with dev console
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and TestRail
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Experience in API testing tools (Fiddler, Postman etc.)
• Experience in writing SQL/DB queries
