Job Description
Pendo is seeking an exceptional Enterprise Account Director to drive revenue growth by selling into new accounts within a greenfield territory. The Account Director will play a leadership role in executing Pendo's sales strategy, landing a defined set of enterprise accounts rapidly, and growing existing accounts. They will be responsible for driving executive engagement, selling solutions, and delivering significant value to customers.Role Responsibilities include:
  • Executing a complex, value-based sales process.
  • Sourcing and developing new business opportunities.
  • Articulating Pendo’s unique business, solution, and functional value.
  • Building executive awareness, sales pipeline, and bookings growth.
  • Defining account strategies.
  • Effectively forecasting sales opportunities.
  • Tracking sales activity using Salesforce CRM.
Minimum Qualifications include:
  • A successful track record selling Enterprise software and SaaS platforms to the VP and C-suite level.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in cultivating relationships with senior executives.
  • Expertise in building multi-year account plans.
  • Proficiency in overseeing a substantial sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to distinguish between productive activity and tangible results.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Experience with Sales tools including Salesforce, Clari, Looker, Gong, Outreach.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC and Force Management Methodology.
