Job Description
Spektrum is seeking a Service Desk Technician to support a key client project with the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA). The technician will serve as a dedicated point of contact for users, providing hands-on technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role aims to improve user satisfaction, reduce support response times, and enhance overall IT service delivery.
Role Involves: - Logging, updating, and tracking IT issues in the ITSM ticketing system.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Processing requests for new and replacement hardware and software.
- Providing on-the-spot assistance with IT-related queries.
- Managing inventory and tracking assets in the asset management system.
- Providing user education and training.
- Assisting with network connectivity issues.
- Maintaining documentation of support activities and gathering user feedback.
Requirements: - Knowledgeable and experienced in IT service desk tasks.
- Possess valid Personal Security Clearances.
- Courteous and professional in dealing with staff.
- Sufficient knowledge in English for smooth communication.
- Experience with Windows laptops, workstations, thin clients, and iOS devices.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
