Senior ICT Systems Technician

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Senior ICT Systems Technician to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Sigonella, Italy. The NCIA is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and IT services to NATO member countries and partners. This role involves executing work orders, providing customer service, and maintaining communication and network equipment.Spektrum offers specialized aerospace and defence sales, delivery, and operational subject matter expertise to apex purchasers like NATO, UN, EU, and National Government and Defence.Role Involves:

• Installing and configuring Desktop Services.
• Maintaining Voice and Data communication, Network, Audio/Video and VTC equipment.
• Performing advanced troubleshooting of Desktop, Communications and Network Services.
• Supporting Incident Support Request lifecycle services.
• Contributing to recommendations for Continued Service Improvement.

Requirements:

• Detailed knowledge of LAN and WAN communications, router/switch based networks, and routing protocols (Cisco).
• Ability to resolve technical issues under pressure.
• At least 2 years of experience in a CIS Service Operations environment.
• Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols and Standards.
• Higher vocational training or secondary education with relevant experience.
• Valid National or NATO Top Secret personal security clearance
