Job Description
OMD EMEA is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Science, based in London. This role involves driving the effectiveness of media strategies through data-driven insights and innovative measurement methods. The Senior Manager will work across the media lifecycle, from marketing strategy to data collection and insights reviews.
Role Involves:
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of marketing objectives.
- Consulting on Learning Agendas and Measurement Frameworks.
- Informing ideal campaign setup.
- Maintaining relationships with publishers.
- Maintaining and developing data pipelines and reporting tools.
- Conducting research and leading Advanced Analytics projects.
- Translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Building and maintaining proactive relationships across teams.
- Project management and process building.
Requirements:
- Experience in a media, analytics, or similar environment.
- Expertise in SQL and working with databases.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or similar programming language.
- Experience with statistical methods and experimental design.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
- Familiarity with underlying concepts of ad-serving and web analytics tools.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Familiarity with database design and underlying technologies.
- Experience with digital ad effectiveness analysis.
- Experience with BI tools, particularly Tableau and PowerBI.
