Job Description

Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Senior Gas Trader to join their team in Dubai, UAE. The company specializes in European Gas and Power markets and values excellence, continuous learning, and independent thinking.

The Senior Gas Trader will play a central role in expanding models, developing new trading strategies, managing the portfolio across the curve, and trading both physical and financial products.

Responsibilities:

• Execute trades across major EU gas markets.
• Optimize storage, transportation, and capacity portfolios.
• Develop and implement data-driven trading strategies.
• Conduct thorough market analysis.
• Manage risk and compliance.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the gas trading desk.
• Collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in European natural gas trading.
• In-depth understanding of gas fundamentals, logistics, and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize complex portfolios.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools and programming.
• A robust network within the natural gas industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
