Job Description
Forter is seeking a Senior Security Researcher to join its Cyber R&D team in Tel Aviv. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting low and high-level research on Browsers. This role involves working on Forter's Javascript SDK, which runs on millions of users' devices worldwide and collects digital intelligence data to help prevent fraud.

The role involves:
  • Leading Web/Browsers research within the team.
  • Researching new data collection methods and mechanisms.
  • Designing and developing for the SDK to ensure it is robust and performant.
  • Investigating Browser APIs and their functionalities.
  • Taking ownership of the entire data flow process from concept to implementation.
  • Collaborating with analytics and engineering teams.
  • Deploying the SDK to thousands of merchants and millions of users daily.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest browser technologies, web standards, and security requirements.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of hands-on research or development experience with modern technologies or frameworks.
  • Proven track record in applied technical research or in-depth technology analysis.
  • Understanding of Cloud services, AWS, Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in large-scale production environments.
  • Strong grasp of Computer Systems fundamentals.
  • Basic data querying and analysis skills (SQL, Spark - Advantage).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • A go-to person mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.
  • Creative thinking and a team-oriented mindset.
