Engineering Manager - Tools & Frameworks; FlashArray

Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Tools & Frameworks Team. This role is within the Observability & Reliability Organization and focuses on developing and scaling the automated test infrastructure for all-flash storage solutions. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for improving efficiency, streamlining build-test pipelines, and driving faster development cycles.

Role Involves:

• Leading a team of software engineers in Bangalore.
• Collaborating with global teams to optimize automation strategies.
• Driving automation strategies for CI/CD workflows.
• Addressing test flakiness and enhancing pipeline stability.
• Mentoring and developing engineers.
• Defining and leveraging key metrics to refine automation processes.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical management experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience in Python, Golang, or similar languages.
• Expertise in microservices, REST APIs, pytest, and developer tooling.
• Experience in managing projects throughout the SDLC.
• Deep understanding of automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
