Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a highly motivated MTS - Networking QE Automation to join their FlashArray team in Bangalore, India. The FlashArray team builds innovative, high-performance, and highly available products. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality of FlashArray products and features through system test designs, automation, and defect identification.Role involves:

• Ensuring FlashArray product and features ship with the highest quality.
• Creating System test designs that focus on FlashArray Feature Interoperability at Scale.
• Automating workflows and find high value defects to assure quality of anything we ship.
• Working with Support and Escalation teams to help reproduce and root cause customer issues.
• Identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing.
• Designing and building tools that make it efficient to execute and triage a large number of test scripts.
• Deploying a number of customer applications and integrate them to create repeatable workflows to test customer use cases.
• Understanding the inner workings of features to target specific failure domains in our stack to make the product/features fault tolerant and resilient.
• Continuously looking for test gaps, perform root cause analysis & close loop on customer found defects.
• Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12+ years of System testing experience in Networking (TCP/IP, Endpoint networking, VLAN, Virtual Interfaces, LACP, Routers, Firewalls, Switches).
• Experience with Network configuration / troubleshooting Tools : wireshark / netcat / netmon.
• Hands on automation design in Python.
• Test design using non-functional concepts (scale, stress, performance, reliability).
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of prioritising multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Natural curiosity with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
