Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Senior Gas Trader to join their team in Dubai, UAE. The role involves expanding models, developing new trading strategies, and managing the portfolio across the curve, with the opportunity to trade both physical and financial products.

The successful candidate will have a central role within the company, working alongside a dynamic Commercial team and exceptional colleagues.

Role involves:

• Executing trades across major EU gas markets.
• Optimising storage, transportation, and capacity portfolios.
• Developing and implementing data-driven trading strategies.
• Conducting thorough market analysis.
• Managing risk and compliance.
• Contributing to the strategic direction of the gas trading desk.
• Collaborating with internal teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in European natural gas trading.
• In-depth understanding of gas fundamentals, logistics, and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to optimise complex portfolios.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools and programming.
• A robust network within the natural gas industry.
