Lead BI Engineer - Tableau

Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Lead BI Engineer - Tableau Developer to join their team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for requirements analysis, designing and implementing effective data visualization solutions, creating interactive reports and dashboards, and providing valuable insights to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. While proficiency in Tableau is the primary requirement for this role, expertise in similar tools will be advantageous for effectively integrating data from diverse sources.

Role involves:

• Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau.
• Developing and maintaining data sources, data extracts, and data models.
• Troubleshooting issues with existing Tableau reports and dashboards.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and data analysts.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau.
• 3+ years of working knowledge on Snowflake is a Plus
• Familiarity with working with GTM data and exposure to Salesforce.
• Hands-on experience on Python , Pyspark.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data visualization and design principles.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
