Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive sales of data storage solutions to State, Local, and Education (SLED) customers in DC/MD/VA. The Account Executive will evangelize Pure Storage's technology, identify sales opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions. This role involves building customer relationships, leading pursuit teams, and managing a robust sales pipeline.
Role involves:

Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in SLED sales
- In-depth knowledge of the SLED procurement process
- Ability to sell the company's story and value proposition
- Authenticity and a desire to engage customers
- Thought leadership and a Challenger Mindset
- Prospecting skills and ability to open doors to new customers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a territory and achieve revenue targets
- Experience leading complex sales processes
- Experience outside of traditional storage for the past consecutive 5 years
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota
- Passionate about post-sales customer success
- Skilled in delivering business results and leveraging CRM tools
- 5+ years of outside sales experience
