Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a District Manager to lead a team of Account Executives in the ANZ region. The District Manager will be responsible for building and leading a team, accurate forecasting, Account Executive development, territory planning, and channel partner relationship development. The successful candidate will establish strong business relationships at the executive level, support key sales presentations, and provide strategic direction to the sales team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading, coaching, and inspiring a team of Commercial Account Executives.
  • Hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • Providing strategic leadership to the extended Pure Storage team.
  • Driving performance by managing key KPIs.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key channel partners.
  • Leading sales activities and ensuring team members meet sales targets.
  • Traveling for meetings, client engagements, and partner interactions.
  • Delivering business results, including achieving annual bookings goals.
  • Implementing a structured performance management approach.

Requirements:
  • Proven track record of excellence in IT sales leadership across the ANZ region.
  • Strong track record in sales team management.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and executive presence.
  • 10+ years of successful field sales experience in storage or core IT infrastructure.
  • Strong ability to recruit, develop, and coach high-performing sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key channel partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to coordinate internal resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and other sales productivity platforms.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required.
