Principal Technologist - Northeast Region

Pure Storage is seeking a Principal Technologist to serve as a strategic technology leader, bridging the gap between product management teams and customers and partners. This role is based in the Northeast region.

Role involves:

• Serving as a strategic technology advisor to enterprise customers and partners.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives.
• Collaborating with sales, customer experience, field marketing and product teams.
• Representing the company as a thought leader at industry events.
• Providing feedback to internal teams on market trends.
• Partnering with engineering teams to ensure customer needs are reflected in product roadmaps.
• Developing proof-of-concepts, technical demos, and solution architectures.
• Staying ahead of emerging technologies and best practices.
• Acting as a public-facing technical leader, contributing to blogs, webinars, and whitepapers.
• Supporting field teams in pre-sales and post-sales technical engagements.
• Collaborating with marketing to develop compelling messaging, case studies, and technical content.
• Mentoring and training internal teams and strategic partners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, data architecture, or a related technology domain.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage solutions.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
• Proven track record of engaging with Fortune 500 enterprises.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Experience with SaaS, PaaS, or enterprise software solutions.
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
