This role involves expanding models, developing new trading strategies, and managing the portfolio across the curve, with the opportunity to trade both physical and financial products. The successful candidate will play a central role in a dynamic commercial team, working alongside exceptional colleagues in tech, analytics, quants, and origination.

Role involves:

• Executing trades across major EU gas markets, focusing on both physical and financial opportunities.
• Optimising storage, transportation, and capacity portfolios to maximise profitability.
• Developing and implementing data-driven trading strategies and tools for market analysis.
• Conducting market analysis to capitalise on trading opportunities.
• Managing risk and compliance effectively.
• Contributing to the strategic direction of the gas trading desk.
• Collaborating with internal teams to enhance trading performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in European natural gas trading.
• In-depth understanding of gas fundamentals, logistics, and market dynamics.
• Ability to optimise complex portfolios and identify profitable trading opportunities.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools and programming.
• A robust network within the natural gas industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
