Sezzle is seeking a passionate Software Engineer Intern to join their innovative technology team. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work within a highly skilled group of developers to build and maintain features for Sezzle’s platform.As a Software Engineer Intern, the candidate will contribute to real-world projects, participate in code reviews, and gain exposure to Sezzle’s technology stack. The intern will assist in developing and maintaining backend and frontend services, write clean, scalable code, and collaborate with the engineering team to implement new features and resolve bugs. They will also work on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of Sezzle's platform and document software functionalities and contribute to the knowledge base.What this role involves:

• Assisting in developing and maintaining backend and frontend services.
• Writing clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to implement new features and resolve bugs.
• Working on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of Sezzle's platform.
• Documenting software functionalities and contribute to the knowledge base.

What the candidate needs:

• Experience with Golang, Python, or any backend language.
• Familiarity with Javascript/Typescript, and React or similar framework.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
