Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Description

PayPay is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to contribute to their cloud-based payment system. The engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure platforms.

Role involves:

• Architecting and building scalable infrastructure.
• Ensuring maintainability during patching and upgrades.
• Implementing AWS regional level failure tolerance.
• Collaborating with Security Engineers for secure infrastructure provisioning.
• Automating AWS deployments for fast service delivery.
• Enabling developers to easily deploy resources on AWS.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in cloud-based infrastructure platforms.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS computing, storage, and analytical services.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (Python, Shell Scripting, Go, Rust).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and payment industry compliance.
• Experience with cloud services monitoring, detection, and response.
• Good understanding of network, especially on cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication skills.
